The Past
Our UK office was founded in 1982 in Leeds and quickly became one of the UK's key pet product suppliers. We popularised the concept of internal aquarium filtration and all in one aquarium sets in the UK aquatic market. Our products became known for their quality, value for money and innovation - values we still work by today.
We quickly realised that larger premises were required to meet increased demand, so in 1988 we moved to our current offices in Castleford, West Yorkshire.
The Present
Today, from our modern office and warehousing facilities we distribute our market leading products to hundreds of pet retailers and wholesalers throughout the UK and Eire. Our warehousing team dispatch over half a million products each and every month, bringing the latest innovations directly to your local pet retailer.
With almost 40 years in business we continue our pledge to enrich the lives of pets and pet owners across the country.
In recent years, products such as Fluval aquarium filters, Exo Terra reptile products and Catit cat fountains have become market leaders and the innovation continues, with hundreds of new lines launched every year.
At our core are the same family values running through the entire Hagen company. We're not a faceless conglomerate - we are proud of our heritage and of the personal touch our staff give to everything they do.
